This is how I sleep every night...

Oscar on my left, Nugget on my right. I'm sandwiched in so tight that even if I had to get up to pee, I couldn't. The plus side is that, in the winter, I never have to use my heat at night. They're nothing if not thrifty.

It's impossible to not love this face

I was unsure I'd be able to love and adore another dog as much as I do Nugget. Oscar has successfully restored my belief in having multiple soul-mates. He is such a neat dog! He's unbelievablely affectionate, always excited, and is turning out to be a good guard dog. Last week, Brian taught him to catch a frisbee mid-air. Seriously cool dog!

I awoke in the middle of the night to find myself clinging desperately to what small share of mattress and blankets I had left. Apparently having a majority share didn't suit Oscar. His sleeping arrangement was slightly more demanding than that for which we'd previously planned.

Exhausted

Nugget is still exhausted from his vacation. When I arrived to pick him up, he was swim-swim-swimming his little heart out, tennis ball in mouth. He was not happy to have to leave. What mean mom would separate her boy from his fun?! Nugget has, however, been sleeping for most of the last 24 hours. Pooped pup!
