Darby chews his toenails, too. Makes clipping them a GIANT pain, since as soon as a piece is snipped off he starts frantically searching the carpet to find where it landed so he can eat it.
My toy fox terrier used to do that... we never had to clip her nails because she kept them short and neat, actually. She didn't eat the clippings either, just left them to the side. Very odd.
Sophie hasn't tried that one yet. Kinda wish she would and that would cut back on the toe clipper antics!
