It's been a long-known fact that manners are not a strength of Nugget's. He barks obnoxiously, jumps wildly, and wedges himself between any two people who are not paying him the attention he thinks he deserves. To say that Nugget is not fit to attend afternoon tea with the Queen would be an understatement. Don't get me wrong, he is actually a very well-behaved dog. He knows far more than just basic commands and for the most part, he listens... when it suits him. Probably one of Nugget's more questionable "talents" is his ability to belch with such gusto, I can really only compare it to what I would imagine might come out of a 250lb linebacker - though I don't know any, so to date, I've been unable to verify. While most of these gassy outbursts are fairly predictable, occurring after each meal and most large gulps of water, occasionally he'll force one out at a most inopportune moment - like when I'm down on the floor in his face. In case you've not been previously made aware, the gas produced from either end by a dog who regularly feasts on any kibble made specifically for dogs is nothing short of noxious.
Now my Nugget is an exceptionally lovable guy. He elicits from most strangers compliments on his handsome stature, beautiful fur, sweet face and captivating eyes. If he were the arrogant kind, the plethora of compliments he receives would inflate his ego to such a degree that he'd be hard-pressed to get his head though the door. But Nugget carries about him an air which indicates he's confident enough in himself to not care what others think. Of course he loves the compliments and becomes fast friends with anyone who makes a fuss over him, but it's not uncommon for him to end such interactions with a fierce, unexpected belch, so as to say, "Look what I can do!" This I know because he always looks at me and smiles after his manly outburst. He's proud, I'm mortified... on the outside. But inside I'm doubled over in hysterical laughter because he is, hands down, the funniest dog I know!

Beauty Secrets- For SUYL @ Kelly's Korner
I have to RAVE about this product from Mary Kay:
I became an MK consultant about 2 years ago. I figured, I love the products so why not get them at 50% off and make a little extra money. At that point, I was still using the same skin care regimen I'd been using for years which included nothing to combat aging. Admittedly, I'd acquired a good number of "sun spots" and freckles from my irresponsible sun worshipping in my teens. And though I don't have terrible acne, I did have a few small acne scars on my face. So after learning about the products, I began using and fell in love with the Timewise anti-aging line.
TimeWise® Even Complexion Essence absolutely changed my life! (Ok, a little dramatic, but it changed my whole approach to skin care and makeup!). As I mentioned before, I've never had terrible skin, but couldn't we all use a little complexion tune up? My freckles and sun spots have DISAPPEARED after using this product! Not even kidding you! My skin has never been more smooth, bright and even toned than it is now. When I returned to my alma mater last year for homecoming, I received so many compliments on how beautiful my skin is. And other than the occasional dark circles, I've almost completely ditched my concealer.
I use TimeWise® Even Complexion Essence after I wash my face in the morning and after I wash my face before bed, each time after I put on my moisturizer. It is a little pricey at $35 but it lasts FOREVER because a little bit goes a long way. I don't care what other products you use, this is an absolute MUST in your skin care routine! You will not be disappointed :)
LADIES - hear me when I say this, you're NEVER too young to start using anti-aging products! So much better to prevent lines, wrinkles and premature aging of your skin than to have to fix it later on down the road. I am 27 and began using these products 2 years ago. And never, EVER forget your SPF - even during the winter months!
And PS - I offer free shipping! :)

Andrew in Indy
For the Singles Linky Party on Kelly's Korner Blog:
This is my boyfriend's best friend, Andrew. He will be 25 in March and lives in Indianapolis, IN. Originally from Minnesota, he is an Engineer for a large national engineering firm. He loves dogs, golf and hockey. He owns his own home (5 bedrooms - perfect for lots of kiddos someday!! :) haha) and is a dad to the most adorable little german shephard mix puppy who he rescued about 2 years ago. He is extremely easy-going and an amazingly awesome friend. He has such a good heart. He is very respectful to everyone he meets and has so much to offer any lucky girl! You won't find him trolling the bars on the weekends, he prefers to kick it at home with his guy friends - playing video games, board games or shooting darts if the weather is bad. Otherwise, you'll find him golfing or playing hockey.
If you want to be treated like a princess, Andrew is your prince!
email me at: nugget0808@gmail.com - send your pic and let me know how Andrew can get in contact with you!
Anyway, this is actually a fun blog about dogs... So please explore other posts and follow us and share us if you like us :) Thank you!

Captain Obnoxious Pants...
... but they call me "Nugget" for short. And sometimes, I feel like I'm just not getting quite enough attention - especially if mom is watching one of her favorite shows. Typically, I will keep bringing the same toy over and set it on her lap. Sometimes she tosses it for me and sometimes she hides it. When that stops working, I dig deep in the toy basket for the one with the loudest, most annoying squeaker... and then I squeak and squeak and squeak and squeak and squeak. And squeak and squeak and squeak and squeak... Somehow lately a lot of the squeaky toys have been disappearing. I can't find them anywhere!!

I think I'm getting a bath tomorrow night...
Well I've been at Dorian's this weekend because Mom went out of town for a few days. I have so much fun here! Dorian has a big fenced-in yard so I just play all day! There's even a fountain back there... but Mom always yells at me when I get too close. This time, no one was watching and I couldn't contain the urge... so I went for it! Splish-splash in the fountain! It was so much fun!! Then I wasn't allowed back in the house because I was green from the algae and wet and "stinky" apparently - whatever that means. So I kept playing in the fountain - all weekend. Mom is gonna be soooooo mad. I am sure I'm getting a bath tomorrow night when she picks me up. But I still can't wait to see her!
